Whitechapel the home of the Jack the Ripper the infamous spiker is now the home of social volleyball.

We've been running sessions here since December 2004. From 2004 to June 2006 we held a league here each week of 9 teams but have chosen since summer 2006 to just hold open sessions at Whitechapel.

Each week we combine a warm up with a little time working on specific skills then play matches through the rest of the session.

The group is trying to find other teams to play for fun and to add a  competitive edge to their sport.

During the summer we play in Regents Park each Wednesday after work.

Most weeks the session ends with a good post match analysis in the Urban Bar.
